Patient Services

Same Day Appointments
Same day appointments are available most days. While we encourage our patients to schedule follow up and routine appointments in advance, we realize that an acute illness needs to be addressed immediately. If your physician is not available, please trust that his or her colleagues have access to your records and can provide same day care.

Calls to Your Physician
Calls to your physician during office phones will be triaged by our RN staff. Our triage staff works very closely with your physician and your concerns will be conveyed to them. The triage staff will call you with your physician's recommendations. If appropriate, you may be asked to make an appointment.

Referrals
As your primary care clinic, we are responsible for coordinating your entire healthcare, including referrals to specialists. We encourage you to schedule an appointment with us prior to seeing a specialist so we can refer you appropriately. You must establish care with our clinic before we can refer you to a specialist. It is important to keep our referral staff aware of any upcoming appointments with specialists so they can begin the referral process. Most insurance plans do not cover retroactive referrals.

Prescription Refills
To renew your prescription refill, please contact your pharmacy. Your pharmacist will notify our office. We ask our patients to allow 48 hours to process refill requests. If possible, please call your pharmacy four days before your prescription runs out. Some medications may require periodic check-ups for appropriate monitoring and in such instances you will be required to make an appointment. Prescriptions will be refilled during office hours only.

Test Results
You can expect to receive the results of your lab tests and xrays by mail within two weeks. If a result needs immediate attention, you will be notified by phone. If you have not received results within two weeks, please call our office.
