Kevin C. Nelson M.D
Kevin Nelson M.D., a graduate of Augustana College and Rush Medical School, has been in practice at RMG since 1991. He did his family practice residency at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, IL. He enjoys patients of all ages and has a practice that accommodates teens, families, and seniors. Active in the community, Kevin has served as a coach for many teams, and volunteers with many organizations. He is a bit of a golf addict but also enjoys reading, watching movies, biking, and traveling with his wife and three newly-adult children.
Molly Wright M.D.
Molly Wright grew up in Bloomington, MN. She received her bachelors degree from the College of St. Benedict. She attended Albany Medical College and completed her family practice residency program at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. A true family practice physician, she has a passion for serving and strengthening generations of Minnesota families. Dr. Wright lives in Minneapolis and has two teenage children. In her free time she enjoys running, yoga, cooking, baking, and exploring the city lakes with her dog.
Joan Trowbridge M.D.
Joan Trowbridge, M.D., MEd received her Bachelor’s Degree from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. She attended the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis, Minnesota and completed her residency program at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Dr. Trowbridge is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has practiced for over 23 years in this field. Dr. Trowbridge believes in partnering with patients and families to improve their health, well-being and quality of life. She values a team based approach to practicing medicine and working with a network of professionals to improve the health of her patients. Her practice could be described as a caring partnership with emphasis on personal relationships, joint decision making, prevention, problem solving and education. Due to her previous training and experience with teaching Deaf/Blind/Multihandicapped patients, she is more aware of the needs of the whole person. Dr. Trowbridge is dedicated to a lifetime of service to others both through her clinical practice and serving the community by volunteering. In her pastime she enjoys reading, painting, travel and walks in nature. Time with friends and family is also cherished.
Maggie McEvoy, M.D.
Dr. Maggie, as she prefers to be called, recently joined Richfield Medical Group after practicing at another Health Care System. She received her Doctorate Degree from the University of Minnesota. She attended two Residency programs, one in General Surgery and one in Family Medicine where she realized her true passion. Dr. Maggie provides full-spectrum family medicine care (excluding Obstetrics) for all generations. She especially enjoys providing care for newborns, pediatric patients and their parents.
Dr. Maggie grew up in a large family on a farm in Iowa and treasures the fun she had and the skills learned. She also values hard work, sincerity, and mindful use of resources. She enjoys teaching, traveling, and learning about photography. She has a wide variety of volunteer interests and recently completed a medical mission to Africa providing care to underserved areas in Kenya.
Sarah Sankey, CNP, FNP
Sarah is a Certified Nurse Practitioner also known as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, which means she is qualified to see Family Medicine patients and provide full services to patients of all generations. Sarah graduated from the College of St. Catherine and Walden University.
Sarah loves to exercise and stay in shape, travel, see live music, go to new restaurants/coffee shops, and spend time outdoors with her 16 year old daughter and puppy. Sarah practices holistic medicine combined with traditional medicine because she believes diet and lifestyle choices impact our health.
